MOLLY are Lars Andersson and Phillip Dornauer from Innsbruck in Austria. With a shared love of the early Creation bands such as My Bloody Valentine and Ride they knew the sound they wanted from the moment they decided to form a band together – shoegaze. Today they are inspired by artists such as Sigur Rós but their dreamy sound with waves of distorted guitar and a depth that defies a 2 piece is getting them noticed around the world. Whilst Lars, all blond hair ablaze like a cool young Robert Smith, gets his guitar singing above his dreamy vocals, Phillip defies musical science with his drumming, bass and keyboards combined. Live they are a captivating experience not to be missed.

Just like Douglas Adams came up with the idea for “The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy” whilst lying in a field in Innsbruck looking at the stars, so did MOLLY find the inspiration for their debut record “Sun Sun Sun” laying in a field in Innsbruck, looking at the sun (sun sun).
