New single by Liebeskid, out 14.05.2020 on Unperceived Records.
Crossing Indie, bedroom music, folk reminiscences, ambient soundscapes and contemporary art-pop the Russian singer & producer with her new release is able to create a magnetic and hypnotical melody in a song as delicate as it is capable of striking at first listen.
Liebeskid is a Russian artist and songwriter currently based in Germany. Raised within a family of musicians, her connection to the art-form was strong from the start, though it took a few years of life experience to truly recognize and act upon that connection. Approaching songwriting with a genre-less intention, her desire to craft original soundscapes and write from the heart has led to an array of songs that are deeply emotional and uniquely stunning in many different ways. There is a sense of melancholy and intimate reflection in her music, something which lets them embrace the listener in a powerful manner.
Song quote from Liebeskid: “In Your Eyes I Look Bigger” offers a delicate, piano-led ambience, with rich vocals, and lyrics which reach out to connect in a profound matter. A meditation on darkness and intimacy, restrained and slow-burning, it forms an intriguing mist and tension from the very beginning. Though the song ends as quietly as it starts, the ambient fog lingers far longer making it the perfect piece to escape within at volume. The very way in which it was created and produced, alone in a small room, is precisely how it is best to be received.
