In 2013 Astronaute released their first EP ‘Myriad’. A collection of five lo-fi and acoustic songs distributed via online platform Noisetrade.
In 2015 Zeal Records released their debut album ‘Petrichor’. The ‘Petrichor’ tour brought the band to famous venues like Botanique, Ancienne Belgique, Depot, 4AD, STUK, Muziekodroom. And to music festivals like Little Waves and Pukkelpop. Astronaute has played support shows for Amatorski, Spain, Damien Jurado, Sophia, Sam Amidon, Isbells, Marble Sounds.
In 2018 Astronaute will release their second album ‘Circle’ on their brand new record label KLANKZALF. ‘Circle’ was recorded in Studio Finster, Antwerp with Joris Caluwaerts.
Astronaute is Myrthe Luyten & Bert Hornikx. But the band has seen many shapes and forms.
