Taken from the “Hunter Street Station Blues” EP, out July 21, 2017.
Matt Paxton recorded the EP in early Spring of 2017. He found himself often coming back to his hometown to record when he needed a break from the west coast. Recently he decided to move home, in Hamilton, where his label Other Songs Music Co is based out of as well as Threshold Recording Studios where the album was recorded.
For the past while Matt Paxton lived primarily on the West Coast of Canada. Yet, he have always drawn a ton of influence from the place and people he knows back home. This first track “Baby Don’t Go” is largely about holding on to love and trying to make it all work.
